July 2011
We hope that your summer is going well HAAC
member! We encourage you to check out our website
in-between newsletters for updated information.
The link is Hinesville Area Arts Council.
The Council will probably be moving soon as we
have been seeking a more permanent home for the
arts in Liberty County. It was through the
benevolence of Osteen & Osteen that we have been
allowed to use the old house for the last year and
a half, which we have really appreciated because
arts programming has grown a lot in that time.
When the time comes we are sure to need lots of
help packing and leaving the old Mills House, so
be prepared! We will probably have a "tag sale"
type day as well to help us cull down some of our
art pieces, as well as furniture that we have
collected over the last two years so if you like
nice art and vintage furniture be ready!
Thanks!
This weekend is the Suzie Q Books for Boobies Sale
at the old Mills House. The event is Saturday from
8am-2pm and books are $2 for hard back and $1 for
paper back. They have a lot of good inventory, so
come check it out!
