Liberty County is home to numerous historic sites and exciting activities for all. Whether you're interested in kayaking along the coastal rivers, catching up on your Colonial history or learning of the Geechee culture, we have you covered.

Liberty County is not only the home of two Declaration of Independence signers and the Worlds Largest Crayon, but is also considered to be "the" hub of African-American history. If you prefer the arts, stop by the Hinesville Area Arts Council Gallery for a viewing and maybe stay for a class. If you're more of an outdoors person, visit one of our local horse stables or shooting preserves.
