What does the Chamber do?
The Chamber provides benefits to members to make them more profitable. The Chamber also promotes legislation that retains and supports existing businesses, promotes tourism and industrial recruitment, and encourages long-range community planning and development. Members receive invitations to Chamber lunches, where speakers address key community issues and members trade business cards and network. Members also receive invitations to special events, including low-country boils that welcome new generals to Fort Stewart and our Annual Chamber Golf Classic. As a chamber member, you will also receive free ribbon cutting, grand-opening, and anniversary ceremonies. The Chamber also offers free, one-on-one small business consulting and classes on starting a business and other topics. The Chamber staff refers callers, visitors and newcomers seeking specific goods and services to Chamber businesses only. Members receive a weekly electronic chamber publication, E-News Friday. The newsletter details upcoming events and gives members the opportunity to advertise their products and/or services.
