kenny.jpg, 10 kBWelcome to the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce web page! Liberty County is one of the fastest growing communities in Georgia. Whether you are interested in business, industry, education, or recreation opportunities, we have a lot to offer.

If you are an existing business in our community, or a potential newcomer, Liberty County has so much to show you. Our county is a fascinating area in which to live. With it's beautiful live oak trees draped in Spanish moss, the miles of coastal water front and salt marsh properties appeal to everyone.

Liberty County is a progressive community that is strengthened by its military strand. Fort Stewart, which is located in Liberty County, is the Army's largest military installation east of the Mississippi and is home to nearly 16,000 soldiers and their families. The military presence brings a unique diversity of cultural blends to the area. With a population of over 30,000, Hinesville is the largest city in Liberty County, and has been one of the fastest growing cities in Georgia during recent years. Other cities in our county include Allenhurst, Flemington, Gum Branch, Midway, Riceboro, and Walthourville.

With a large population of military spouses and retired military citizens, Liberty County enjoys the benefits of having a large reserve of skilled and educated labor to meet the needs of any prospective industry. Many new industries have recently moved their business to Liberty County and our schools are preparing students for employment when they graduate.

Living near the coast brings many recreational opportunities, such as golfing, boating, fishing, hunting, and sporting activities. The Liberty County recreation department and the local YMCA offer a wide range of organized activities for our youth.

The Chamber offers a wide spectrum of activities that range from casual low country boils, Business After Hours functions, historical tours, festivals, business seminars and our ever popular annual illuminated Christmas parade to name a few.

Thank you again for visiting our site. Please browse our pages for those topics that interest you. If we can be of any assistance to you or your company please e-mail us. I personally invite you to visit our area and experience the essence of true "southern living."
Sincerely,
